I'll be frank: a terrible thing has happened. The GOP is crafting their party platform. Now, they have the opportunity to satisfy the conservative base once and for all; return to the Reagan principles that truly define the Republican party. For unlike the last platform we had, 40,000 words and filled with useless commendations and whatnot, this platform has the opportunity to bring us, well, back to our roots.
But you know what? You know what those idiots drafting the platform did?
Y'know what they did?
They threw all that away for the noble and just cause of...not conflicting with McCain's past (read: "independent") positions.
This election is now ours to win, and by God, our so-called party leaders seem hell-bent on losing.
