Actually, the fabled northwest passage was free of ice this last summer for the first time in recorded history. Not saying manmade global warming is true or anything, but the earth is warming.
I was more commenting on the media hysteria that turned out to be blatantly false. I personally don't believe in anthropogenic global warming. That doesn't mean I don't believe in cyclical climate change, either. It's a matter I have yet to look into.
